14 Clean and Nontoxic Beauty Brands Found at a Store Near You

While we love and support the small store experience that many clean beauty boutiques offer (see The Detox Market, Follain or CONTENT), we realise that for many women in towns and cities around the world, seeking nontoxic beauty can be a bit of a treasure hunt. For that reason, we’ve made a list of conventional stores where you can find non-conventional (i.e. clean) beauty brands.

Target: If you haven’t been to the discount retailer (second largest after Walmart) lately, you might not have noticed that they are on a mission to “empower guests and team members to lead more sustainable lifestyles by providing the right products, information, tools and incentives to make it easy,” according tho their website. To that end, they have a 2020 goal that includes transparency on all ingredients, including generics like ‘fragrance‘. Brands to look for include:
