Amanda Reviews: Radiant Cosmetics

Who knew that makeup could have such a huge impact on society?

My package contained three lovely Radiant Cosmetics products: matte lipstick in Moscow and two lip glosses in Cheeky and Hummingbird. Since I have tried these products, I find it hard to leave the house without one of them on. My lips just feel so … sad and bare, seriously!

Everyone has their reasons for disliking certain makeup, but I dare you to come up with one for these products. The lipstick stayed on for hours – lasting effortlessly through my morning tea leaving no lip stains on my mug. The lip gloss was a perfect combination of sticky and smooth (I sense you nodding, you know what I mean!) More importantly, all of the products I tested were paraben & sulfate free!

Yes, I liked wearing Radiant Cosmetics lipsticks and glosses, but why are they Magnifeco? Always eager to learn as much as I can about the products I try, here’s more on what I read after using my new lipstick & glosses for a couple of weeks.

First of all, it’s comforting to know that Radiant Cosmetics certainly don’t hide behind their ingredients. The majority of their products have natural ingredients such as sesame seed oil, beeswax and candelilla. They offer full disclosure on all of their products (that don’t require a chemistry degree to read), including the few that are not 100% natural. They acknowledge, like us at Magnifeco, how important it is to be aware of what you are using and are always working on creating environmentally conscious products. All Radiant Cosmetic makeup is made fairly in the USA.

Aside from the obvious passion and determination this company exhibits, I’m truly impressed by their honest approach to business for the purpose of making a difference. Check out the FAQ page on their site to see what I mean. Did you know that they donate a minimum of 20% of profits from every purchase to anti-trafficking organizations?

The name “Radiant” says it all. To quote their website, they “want to be a light in the darkness”. The Radiant Cosmetic website houses a wealth of resources and empowerment. I definitely encourage you to check it out. But be warned, you will probably end up purchasing their makeup online…
