Nieves Ruiz-Ramos is the Spanish designer behind the bibico label. Nieves previously designed for high-street labels including Zara, River Island and Top Shop but increasingly concerned about the social and environmental impacts of ‘fast fashion’ she decided to start her own label. Her designs are stitched and knitted in World Fair Trade Organisation (WFTO) certified co-operatives in India and Nepal. This butterfly dress is a printed smock dress, made in India, 100% cotton. £45.00.

This crochet cardigan is a short sleeved cardigan with crochet detail at collar & hand made crochet buttons. 100% cotton, hand knitted in Nepal. Comes in sun (shown) or red. £50.00.

This bandeau dress is 100% cotton jersey with elasticated waist & skinny leather belt. Made in India. Comes in charcoal (shown) or red. £42.00. Ships to Europe, North America and Australia/New Zealand. Bibico sells online and at retailers in the UK and Europe and at Top Shop, Oxford Circus and recently released a fair trade clothing capsule collection in conjunction with La Redoute.
