Valerie’s Conscious Guide to Munich
We welcome Valerie Hutterer to the Magnifeco team. Originally from Munich, she has studied and worked in the field of eco-fashion in Paris and loves the green, conscious lifestyle. In her first assignment, she shares the greener side of Munich.
Welcome to Munich, this is my Conscious Guide to Munich where I share with you my favorite restaurants and shops in my Bavarian hometown.
Glore stands for globally responsible fashion and is one of my favorite shops in the city. It offers a wide rang of very beautiful, fair trade, ecological, sustainable fashion, which is approved by GOTS and the Fair Wear Foundation. Their selection of products is really incredible. You will find bags, clothes, shoes, accessories and everything for your baby or child. The small shop is close to the Isar river and the trendy Gaertnerplatz. They have shops also in other German cities and if you won’t make it into town you can check out their Online Shop. The motto: Be green in any color you like.
Glore Munich, Baaderstrasse 55, 80469 Munich | Monday – Friday 11am – 7.30pm, Saturday 11am – 7pm

Such a cute little shop, where you will find fair, ethnical and sustainable treasures. I love it. Phasenreich was created by these two amazing girls in the photo. Eco – fashion shop, organic coffee shop, vinyl shop all in one. Is there anything more to wish for? You will find the sweetest birthday card for your best friend or a sustainable, solar phone charger. After entering the fantasy world you can refresh your Karma and listen to fairytales.
Check out their brand new shop in the trendy Gaertnerplatz district.
Phasenreich, Reichenbachstrasse 23, 80496 Munich | Tuesday – Friday 10am – 8pm, Saturday 11am – 8pm

Vintage Love is like a treasury. The clothes are so beautiful, the store is excellent. It is just the best vintage shop. You will find a long-searched-for dress, a unique Dirndl (the traditional Bavarian costume), special bags and shoes. It is a bit more expensive than an average vintage shop but definitely worth a visit. The shop is located in the old town of Munich and I just love walking by there to check out which outfits are on the mannequins in the windows, since they are redecorating the windows almost every day!
Vintage Love, Frauenstrasse 22, 80469 Munich | Monday – Friday 1pm – 7pm, Saturday 1pm – 6pm
