We have a package free, zero waste supermarket, which I love. It is next to my university so I go there almost every day. OHNE is the German word for “without” and the name says it all. Everything you can buy there is loose and you can bring your jars and reusable bags to fill them, with everything you would wish for in a vegetarian supermarket. All their products are organic, local and they also sell vegetables and fruits that don’t look like the average ones since they are still very good to eat. The breads and pastries come from organic bakeries and of course there is also a zero waste coffee shop. My personal favorite in the shop is the beauty corner, where you will find many organic, zero waste beauty products such as wooden toothbrushes, creams, deodorants and zero waste condoms. And how great is it to bring a bottle of wine to a dinner party you filled up by yourself? Amazing, right?
