Eco-travel with the WWF

Ask any of the outdoor apparel outfitters (Patagonia, Timberland, etc.) and they all believe in the same tenet – if more people spent time in nature, they would take better care of the planet. The same is true for wildlife. Since 1983, the WWF Travel Program has taken travelers on wildlife-viewing expeditions throughout the world promoting conservation and environmentalism at the same time. This is on my ‘bucket list‘ – an opportunity to swim with the whalesharks. Natural Habitat Adventures partners with the WWF on this trip, and with experienced Expedition Leaders you can swim with these enormous, friendly whale sharks – the world’s biggest fish! Not into water - Natural Habitat Adventures offer eco-friendly safaris and overland adventures as well.

Thanks to our friends at The Green Living for this tip in their Guide to Eco-Conscious Travel
