Freitag, the brand of environmentally conscious bags created from well-travelled truck tarpaulins, unravelled seat belts, bicycle inner tubes and airbags, have opened what is to be their first flagship store in Asia – Freitag Store Tokyo. The Freitag brothers Daniel and Markus were in Tokyo last night at their new location in Ginza for a press preview, and the store opened to the public today! This adds to their stores in BERLIN, DAVOS, HAMBURG, KÖLN, NEW YORK, VIENNA and ZÜRICH.

If you don’t live in one of those beautiful cities, you can buy online! Their latest collection includes this perfect versatile Bly bag (in three colors: red, beige and this grey). Made from vintage, uni-colored truck tarpaulins. Ingenious strap design allows hand-carrying, clutching, 50s dangling, diagonal toting or even hip-bag suspension. Magnetic top closure, zippered textile inside compartment. Dimensions: 225 x 120 x 35 mm. CHF 260.00.
