Every man needs a good shirt, say the founders of Arthur & Henry, the new U.K.-based organic, fairly traded men’s cotton shirt company. It started with an ‘a-ha’ moment for co-founder Clare Lissaman, “I was at the World Congress on Organic Cotton a couple of years ago and someone asked who amongst the attendees was actually wearing organic cotton. Most of the women put their hands up and almost none of the men, as they were all suited and shirted up and said they couldn’t find ‘proper’ shirts in organic cotton. So we decided to make some!”

Arthur & Henry’s first collection of ethical men’s shirts has just launched with five styles in 10 fabrics and include classic double and single cuff as well as contemporary shirts in single cuff, along with casuals in floral, plaid and fine linen shirts. Ethical, organic cotton work and casual shirts for men to wear to the office (or on a date).

Prices range from £65 to £85  and the reasons why
Arthur & Henry shirts are beautiful and ethical are: all the cotton shirts are made in India using organic cotton and they have intentionally kept the shirts ‘long-fitting’ (no one likes a shirt that is too short).
