The Future Fashion Day in Constance/Germany at Konzil, Constance/Germany on May 14 is dedicated to sustainable fashion.

The event offers a glimpse behind the fashion industry and is open to the public free of charge.

Throughout the day there will be lectures and workshops by industry experts on topics such as: how sustainable fashion is produced, and why it is crucial that the textile and fashion industry acts responsibly and manufactures in a sustainable manner.

Besides the workshops and lectures, there will also be a do-it-yourself upcycling event. Finally, the day will close with a fashion show to demonstrate that sustainable fashion can be chic and that it fits all occasions.

The Future Fashion Day organizers’ aim to help make sustainable fashion the standard, i.e. that sustainable fashion ultimately won’t have to be referred to as “sustainable fashion” any more. How they plan to do it? By creating consumer awareness and engagement.

We wish the organizing team comprising of Leyla Kazimova and Oikos Konstanz – students for sustainable economics and management best of luck. For more information such as the detailed program and to register for a workshop, please visit the project’s website.

Hope to see many of you in Konstanz!
