We can’t get enough of mixing old with new these days! It’s so magnifeco. Like Etsy shop Pretty Birdie where Stephanie Teague uses only Recycled, Surplus and Sustainable fabrics. She loves antique and vintage fabrics and incorporates a lot of old Antique Quilt tops, feed and flour sacks and depression dresses into her designs to make them unique and give each piece a beautiful story. Like this Fine Hemp Linen Quilt Dress, with antique quilt squares sewn in with the bodice and quilt accents sewn at the pockets. She has around 15 gorgeous antique quilt squares available. They are all different and unique. So this will be a custom one of a kind dress for you. $160 USD.

We love her Organic Cotton and Bamboo Wrap and Snap. Made from Organic cotton, Bamboo and Lycra this wrap and snap is a sleeveless shell made from hemp muslin. The wrap snaps off and you can wear the shell by itself as shown. $165 USD. Ships everywhere.

Another favourite, also from Etsy, is MagnolijaDRESS from Vilnius, Lithuania. Designer Inga’s MILK and DUSTS babydoll dress is 100% soft soft wool on top with a vintage sparkling skirt. Features bead decoration around the neck and a black satin bow. $195 USD.

This White Flowers Garden Dress features a vintage corset, white flowers and a layered mini skirt with a lot of different vintage fabrics. $220 USD. Offers free global shipping.
