Today is the big EcoChic Fashion Show in Geneva. For the past 10-days we’ve covered a few of the over 50 magnifeco designers that were invited to contribute, including today’s designer Reet Aus. The Reet Aus brand stands for ethical fashion, by designing and producing eco-friendly clothes and accessories. They’re passionate about waste and things that nobody wants. They take it and turn it into luxury by redesigning used clothes and textiles. Every item is handmade in Estonia and refined right down to smallest detail. They have two collections that represent their values: Reet Aus ReUse – a collection made entirely of recycled materials. ReUse takes already used mass produced items and gives them new and unique look with high-class design and Reet Aus Organic – a collection made of organic materials, that are grown without pesticides from plants which are not genetically modified. This ReUse Military Style Jacket is made from recycled black jeans and pants with a new lining and salvaged brass buttons, this jacket is fitted to a feminine form with a tailored waist. It hits just above the hips. $235 USD from their Etsy shop.
