Norwegian Wood the clothing and accessory company founded by Montrealer Angie Johnson is meant to resemble both the Beatles song and the Murakami book in that ‘both the song and book are a bit dark, a bit mysterious, slightly nostalgic and very real.’ Johnson blends her background in fashion (over a decade of designing and merchandising) with her passion for the obscure (often finding her inspiration led by her deadstock discoveries) to give us pieces that are sartorially stunning.
