Stephanie Teague has been designing for her eco-fashion label Pretty Birdie since 2008 (we featured her back in July 2009). Drawn to organic and sustainable fabrics, she also uses remnant and vintage pieces in her line that includes contemporary separates as well as wedding as evening gowns. This Hemp Denim Jacket ($280 USD) paired with a Bustier made from Fine Hemp Linen, rouched and hand sewn with a vintage print ($180 USD) and a Hemp Denim Skirt (185 USD).

Pretty Birdie sells on Etsy and recently opened a brick-and-mortar location in her hometown of Greensboro North Carolina, and she counts Esperanza Spalding as a fan. Spalding wore this outfit (above) on her recent Jay Leno appearance: Tie Blouse in vintage chambray ($135 USD) and hemp suede high waist Pencil Skirt ($195 USD). Ships everywhere.
