Tamara Fogle – upcycled Antique Textiles

Inspired by quality, heritage and aesthetics, Tamara Fogle’s eponymous label offers a collection of hand-crafted bags and pocketbooks that are divine! Established in 2007, all bags are produced in family-run workshops in London. Fogle’s background in Antiques and Interior Styling has strongly influenced the design ethos of the brand as the collections are made using Antique Textiles.  The textiles are upcycled primarily for their aesthetics, but in doing so also create a smaller carbon footprint and less waste. From her line made of antique German flour sacks, comes this German Westbourne, with its chunky leather frame closure and short handle in soft/heavy bridle leather. Long cross-body strap is removable.

From the line made of vintage Indian quilts, these Indian Diabla Treat Purses are sublime; the silver coloured double-frame houses 2 compartments – so your credit cards can stay away from (and not get de-magnetized by) your coins! Lined with 100% cotton ticking lining. Her online shop has just opened and ships everywhere.

Thank you to Sass Brown for this magnifeco recommendation.
