Is Chicago-based designer Lara Miller channeling Deauville in the 20′s, or am I dreaming? Either way, her AW11 collection of stripey knits has me swooning. Fashioned from eco-friendly fibers such as organic cotton, hand-loomed bamboo, hemp and vegan silk, Lara Miller earth friendly pieces have been called “sultry, sophisticated, and as endlessly variable as the woman who wears them” by elle.com. This Victoria Cardigan, in navy with variegated stripes in greens, purple and brown is made of  75% recycled cotton / 25% bamboo. Hand loomed in Chicago. $440 USD.

Lara Miller is renowned for her modular (mulit-wear) designs. This Wallie Dress can be worn as a mini dress, a tunic or as a sweater. It is also reversible! Made in Chicago, hand loomed from 100% bamboo. $350 USD.
