Now in it’s fifth year, Estethica, London Fashion Week’s nod to eco-fashion, has been instrumental in developing Britain’s sustainable fashion industry. Billed as the “showcase  for the growing movement of cutting edge designers committed to working eco sustainably,”  it has grown from its first season of 13 designers to 19 for SS12′s Estethica collective!

All Estethica designers adhere to at least one of the three Estethica principles of fair-trade and ethical practices, organic and recycled materials and are selected for both their ethical credentials and design excellence. One of our favourites is:

Junky is an innovative design-led label. All garments are made from high quality second hand clothing, which is deconstructed, re-cut and completely transformed. The New Yorker described it as ‘an eccentrically chic line of mutant couture’. A focus and belief in individuality means that no two garments are ever exactly the same, a design concept which led Vogue to describe Junky as ‘high fashion street couture’.

The AW11 collection is right on trend with androgynous style that still reveals your femininity.  The JuSt Multi Lapel Dress is a one-of-a-kind recycled style statement. The halterneck and plunging neckline work beautifully in the tailored, classic materials, making this a seriously sleek and sexy piece. Comes in black (shown) or tweed. Was: £ 275.00, now £ 206.25.

For the JuSt Jumpsuit, the upcycled suiting fits and hangs beautifully, with a choice of how to tie the waistband. Wrap the waistband over the back panel for a close-fitting look, or wrap under the back for a sleek fit at the front with a relaxed look at the back. Was £ 190.00, now £ 142.50.

Their men’s collection is also chic, this Hooded Waistcoat is a fitted, two-button waistcoat with a hood and a back panel of contrasting fabric. The hood is made from jacket cuffs and features the original button detailing. Was £ 175.00, now £ 131.25. Most of the AW11 collection can be bought at, who ship everywhere.
