We’ve been featuring mens’ magnifeco fashion all week but no fashion feature would be complete without accessories. This Bently Bag is a roomy messenger briefcase for work or school. Constructed out of discarded truck and tractor inner tubes, comes with a 1 1/2″ wide adjustable and detachable seatbelt shoulder strap, handle, inside pocket and two adjustable front spring hook closures. 13″ x 9″ x 2 1/2″. Was $138.00, now $96.60. Produced in Boulder, Colorado by Heather English. English has been constructing accessories out of discarded truck tire inner tubes since 2001. The original tubes usually have 60,000 miles on them before she rescues them from landfills.

Super strong with just enough stretch. Well constructed and well designed, this upcycled bike tire belt is built to endure. One inner tube is slipped inside another and stitched together to create four layers of rubber. Contrasting stitching adds the perfect designer detail for a belt that can be dressed up or down – it’s the only black belt you’ll need. Various lengths, belt height is 1.25″, buckle snaps on and off so you can add your own belt buckle. 90% upcycled material. $38.00. Made in Seattle by Alchemy Goods. To date more than 150,000 inner tubes have been reclaimed in to eco-friendly accessories!

Also from Alchemy Goods,  this Laptop Sleeve will protect your laptop from the mishaps of everyday life. Durable water resistant exterior, accommodates most 15″ laptops, highlighting stitching. Select your piping color off ash, black or grass (shown). Measures 16″ X 12″ X .5” $44.00. Made of 79% upcycled material.

Lastly, a rectangle of used skateboard is embedded into durable chrome hardware for this one-of-a-kind buckle that will last for years to come. The skateboard piece shows the original artwork of the board with scratches and grind marks made by the skateboarder. $28.00. Made in Portland, Oregon by Lindsay Jo Holmes who hand-makes these stylish accessories out of the remnants of used skateboards, collecting old and damaged boards from her local skate shop. Originally, each skateboard is made from 7 layers of pressed maple wood. By shaping the maple into jewelry she can show off the amazing colors and designs of the original board.
