This piece is in the running for the most magnifeco piece of the year. From Nau, this is the Chrysalis Dress (is it a dress or a jacket?) Not only is the recycled polyester fabric produced from post-consumer and post-industrial polyester waste (developed in partnership with Teijin, the fabric supplier behind ECOCIRCLE┬« technology), the lightweight fabric is wind and water resistant, breathable and quick to dry. Removable sleeves make it versatile for changing weather and draw cords adjust length to match your fashion style and activity. And the icing on the cake -┬á at the end of its long life the Chrysalis can be recycled into polyester fibers for reuse. $200 USD. Nau (pronounced “now”) is a sustainable urban+outdoor apparel company based in Portland, Oregon. They currently ship to the U.S. only.
