Another season, another trend. Luckily, ethical designers are fully in the game and ready and waiting. From Paris Fashion Week, ankle-strapped footwear  turned up at Chloe, Valentino, and Chanel. Vegans can rejoice, as designers leading the trend on the ethical stage, are vegan designers.

From vegan shoe designer duo Cri de Coeur, ethically produced from start to finish the ‘Bounty’ ankle strap from Hearts of Darkness with 4″ wedge with 1″ platform. Made in an ethical, sweat-shop free factory in China. $150.00 USD.

This Patchuli Wedge heel with adjustable ankle strap from Mellisa is made from recyclable vegan plastic. Melissa shoes are made in Brazil, in a socially and environmentally responsible factory, where waste and water is recycled as much as possible. The shoes themselves are part recycled from old shoes, and recyclable and vegan.  £85.00 from Fashion-Conscience.com, who are offering 15% off Melissa shoes and free delivery (until Monday, March 19- use code: melissa)
