PACT – sticking to the basics and making positive change

Started in 2009 by two social entrepreneurs, PACT is obsessed with a BIG idea: clothes that make the world a better place. Socks with soul, altruistic underwear, and other everyday essentials made with fabrics that feel good and go easy on the environment.

At PACT, they are serious about “good” clothes. Their socks are made with organic yarns at an eco-concept factory in Turkey powered by wind energy. The cotton for their underwear and T-shirts comes from a single organic cotton project and every facility PACT goes through is GOTS certified by the Control Union. Plus PACT is committed to making organic clothing in sweat-shop-free facilities and visit every facility multiple times a year to ensure they meet the PACT standard.

If that wasn’t enough to grab your attention – with every purchase, you help PACT make a positive change in the world. Each season, PACT partners with different changemakers to fund a different worthy project. You change your underwear, and in a little way also change the world. This season PACT has partnered with the Whole Kids Foundation to fund 100 urban gardens across America in low income communities this season.

Socks and underwear might seem like THE most boring way to be ethical, but this eco-friendly line has an array of fun eye-catching prints to amp up your style with your ethics. Prices start at $12 USD.
