Poketo has just released a magnifeco new line of upcycled accessories made in partnership with a South Korean design non-profit known for repurposing cast-off materials. Rescued from the waste stream, every handmade (not manufactured) accessory was made from furniture that was nearing the end of its own lifecycle. With no two alike in color, texture or material origin, every accessory features a different combination of soft, supple, leather fabrics that will never be replicated again. These Upcycled Leather Clutches feature a ribbon closure.  4″ x 7.75″ (102×197mm) folded. $44.00 USD.

Own an upcycled Leather Pouch like no other in the world as these pouches come in a variety of textures and colors. An eyelet made with a complementary fabric adds a unique touch that lets you know this particular pouch is yours. The pouch cinches with an elastic that goes over the eyelet. 4″ x 4.75 x1.75″ (102×121×45 mm) $36.00 USD.

A large exterior pocket puts your ticket and boarding pass within easy reach on these upcycled Passport Cases. $44.00 USD. Born out of a belief in “art for your everyday,” Poketo introduces a more artistic and creative take into daily living. Founded by husband-and-wife team Ted Vadakan and Angie Myung, Poketo collaborates with an international roster of artists to create limited-edition lifestyle wares, including apparel, accessories, stationery, and home decor. Each purchase of one these handmade pieces goes toward environmental and economic programs in the developing world.
