The skinny on trashing textiles

Our friends at USAgain (pronounced “use-again”) estimate that 11 million tons of clothing end up in landfills each year (and this is only for America). Their infographic, aimed at getting consumers to rethink how they dispose of textiles, comes from information from the EPA as well as running a 1,500 people survey. USAgain is a green for-profit enterprise works to reduce textile waste by providing thousands of drop boxes across the U.S. where people can drop off their gently used clothes and shoes day or night.
